The pipe industry is one of the most important sectors of the polymer industry, which uses the extrusion process to produce various types of plastic pipes for transporting water, sewage, gas, industrial fluids and construction applications. After mixing with masterbatch and additives, the raw materials enter the extruder and after melting and mixing, they exit the ring die. The produced pipe reaches its final dimensions using calibration, vacuum and cooling systems and is then stretched, cut and quality controlled.
