Extrusion is one of the main methods of polymer shaping in which molten materials pass through a die with a specific shape and are transformed into a product with a fixed cross-section. Raw materials, masterbatch and additives enter the extruder and are melted and mixed under heat and shear. The melt passes through the die and is transformed into its final shape using cooling, calibration, stretching and cutting.
