The pipe industry represents one of the most significant applications of polymers across the construction, agriculture, water supply, and wastewater sectors, as well as in various other industries. Key requirements for this industry include mechanical strength, durability, chemical resistance, UV stability, and the retention of properties throughout the product’s service life. Raw materials are mixed with masterbatches and necessary additives before entering the extruder; following melting and uniform blending, the material is discharged through the die. The resulting pipe is brought to its final dimensions via calibration, vacuum, and cooling systems, after which it undergoes hauling, cutting, and quality control.
